Senior Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant in the ever expanding and exciting environment of Digital Marketing. The candidate would be required to prepare accurate accounting information for the company and assist in day-to-day financial operations. The candidate will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, detail oriented, methodical and ensure policy and procedures are followed.

Role Responsibilities

Accounting role

• Participate in developing reporting system for the group of companies;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts;
• Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases;
• Bank reconciliations;
• Conducting cost and revenue analysis;
• Assist with monthly payroll;
• Annual budgeting and forecasting for the group;
• Management of funder and shareholder documentation as necessary;
• Manage and review corporate tax and VAT returns;
• Analyse and provide financial information to other departments;
• Be in touch with consultants to answer requests;
• Different ad-hoc tasks.

Skills & Abilities

• 5+ years accounting experience;
• ACCA/CPA/ACA or similar qualification is big advantage
• Good understanding of accounting standards;
• Experience of dealing with corporate VAT and tax;
• Previous experience working in a similar professional services environment;
• Well-developed analytical and numerical skills;
• Advanced working knowledge of standard software packages, including Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills (Very strong excel spreadsheet skills);
• Excellent organisational and communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines;
• Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative and effective working relationships that promote goal achievement and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect;
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate, analyse and resolve problems in a collaborative and/or independent manner.
• Good command of English is must and Russian is big advantage.
